Yaourt Brûlée à la confiture

The “Yaourt Brûlée à la confiture” is a great way to rise up a simply plain SKYR yogurt to the next occasion. You need only 3 minutes and 3 things: Jam - SKYR yogurt - some sugar (and of course a blowtorch!). This very quick dessert is not only awesome to finish a meal but also a great Tea-Time delight!

Serves 4

8 tbsp of your favorite jam
250 g 0% SKYR yogurt - Plain
4 tbsp white sugar
1 tbsp icing sugar

  1. Divide the jam at the bottom of 4 heat resistant cups ( or ramequins, timbals)

  2. Spoon the yogurt equally in the cups over the jam, ideally to the rim. Using the back of a knife or a spatula, smooth the top of each cup.

  3. Combine the sugar with the icing sugar and mix well.

  4. Using a small shifter, dust a small amount of the sugar mix evenly over the smooth surface of the yogurt on each cup.

  5. Using a blow torch, brown each sugar top in a constant sweeting motion until starting to change color. Allow to cool for 15 seconds. Place a second layer of sugar mix over and repeat the Brûlée motion to a completely event layer of bubbly caramel.

  6. Allow the Brûlée to cool before serving.
