CIRO URCIUOLO
CANTINE FALIESI, Campania, Italy
One of Italy’s oldest wine-growing regions, Campania dates back to the
ancient Greek and Roman empires and is home to an impressive array of
indigenous grape varieties, many of which are not grown anywhere else on
earth.
EDOARDO FREDDI, export manager
From PRATELLO VINEYARD, LOMBARDY, Italy
The Pratello Vineyards are located on the gentle south facing hills in the
microclimate of Garda Lake, which acts as a thermal accumulator that is
very important for the maturation of the grapes. The soils is moraine,
which is a stony and very loose soil type with some clay, ideal for the
cultivation of vines.
